1. Ordering
 

We want to ensure that ordering from us is a stress-free experience. That's why we offer various options to place your order, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs:

1. Online: Log in to your account at www.southsidedistribution.com.au to place your order. We strongly recommend this option, as it minimizes errors and ensures smooth processing.
2. Email: Send your order details to orders@southsidedistribution.com.au.
3. Telephone: If you prefer to speak directly with us, please call us at 1300 513 551 to place your order.

2. Terms of payment

Payment is due in full before dispatch via online credit card payment unless credit facilities have been agreed upon in writing. If credit facilities have been agreed upon, payment is due within 30 days from the invoice date. Payment can be made through online credit card payment or bank transfer. If paying through bank transfer, please send the payment remittance advice to accounts@southsidedistribution.com.au.

3. Freight, dispatch & delivery

We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround times and commitment to customer satisfaction. To ensure that you receive your order as soon as possible, we dispatch all orders received by 1pm (AEST) the same day Monday-Friday. For orders received between 1-3pm, we will do our best to dispatch them the same day as well, but we cannot guarantee it. Orders received after 1pm on weekdays will definitely be dispatched the following business day.

We understand how important it is to receive your order promptly, and we work tirelessly to ensure that your order is processed and dispatched as quickly as possible. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Shipping Information for Various Order Weights
For orders weighing less than 1kg, we use Australia Post Express. For heavier orders, we ship with Australia Post Parcel or StarTrack Road Express.

Shipping is free for orders over $400* excluding GST. For orders below this threshold, the cost is $17 excluding GST.

4. Price of goods

Price Information for South Side Distribution
Please note that all prices on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD), and exclude Goods and Services Tax (GST) for wholesale customers. However, for retail customers, prices are inclusive of GST. It is important to note that South Side Distribution reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Any orders or quotes that have not yet been dispatched and confirmed before the price increase will be sold at the agreed pricing.

5. Retention of title / risk & title

Here are two points to keep in mind regarding the risk and title of goods:

• The risk associated with the goods will be transferred to the customer upon delivery.
• However, the title of the goods will remain with South Side Distribution until payment is made in full.

6. Non-deliveries, damages & shortages

To file a claim for non-deliveries, damages, or shortages, it is crucial that you contact us in a timely manner. Please adhere to the following timeline:

• Non-deliveries: within 10 days of receipt
• Transit damage: within 3 days of receipt
• Shortages: within 3 days of receipt

This policy ensures that we can promptly address any issues and provide the best possible resolution.

7. Returning goods

If you need to return goods, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. To initiate the process, please fill out our dedicated returns form online before sending the goods back to us. Credit account customers will receive a credit note, while others will be refunded via their original payment method. Please see our Returns Policy for further details.

8. Cancelling an order prior to dispatch

Should you wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch, please notifiy us via email on order@southsidedistribution.com.au or call us on 1300 513 551.

• For orders paid via card, a refund will be made to your payment card, minus a bank processing fee of 1.75%
• For orders paid via bank transfer, the full amount will be refunded. 

9. Warranties

Returning a Product Under Warranty
To return a product under warranty, please follow these steps:

1. Lodge your warranty request using the dedicated warranty returns form available online.
2. After processing your request, we will provide you with a returns number which is required to initiate the return process.
3. Make sure to wait for the returns number before returning the product.
4. To keep track of your warranty status, you can check the updates online as we regularly update the status.

10. Disclaimer

Although we strive to provide accurate product descriptions, weights, dimensions, and other details, we are dependent on the information provided by our suppliers.

11. Agreement and waiver

By accepting our services, the customer acknowledges that all transactions and contracts are subject to our Terms and Conditions, and that all goods are provided and accepted on these terms. Any changes or exemptions to these Terms and Conditions are solely at our discretion and must be in writing to be valid.
